২৫মে’র কাগজে ( দৈনিক যুগশঙ্খে) সংবাদ বেরিয়েছে মালিনী বিল কাণ্ডে ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট পর্যায়ের তদন্তে পার্থ চক্রবর্তী ‘ক্লিন-চিট’ পান নি। কাছাড়ের অতিরিক্ত জেলা শাসক তথা তদন্তে নিযুক্ত ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট বি সি নাথের তদন্ত শেষ হয়েছিল বেশ ক’দিন আগেই । নির্বাচনের ফলাফলের জন্যে তিনি অপেক্ষা করছিলেন। পরিণাম বেরুতেই তিনি সে রিপোর্ট জেলা শাসক গৌতম গাঙ্গুলির কাছে জমা দেন। জেলা শাসক সেটি ইতিমধ্যে রাজ্যের মুখ্য সচিবের কাছে পাঠিয়ে দিয়েছেন।
প্রতিবেদনে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই পার্থ বাবুর ‘সেকেলে জমিদার সুলভ প্রজা শাসনে’র বিরুদ্ধে ফুঁসছিলেন মালিনী বিলের কৈবর্ত সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষ । শেষ পর্যন্ত সুযোগ পেতেই তাঁরা বিদ্রোহ করে বসেন। প্রতিবেদনে যে ভাবে পার্থ চক্রবর্তীর বিরুদ্ধে মতামত গেছে তাতে অনেকেই ভাবছেন উন্নয়ন পরিষদের চেয়ারমেন পদে তাঁর আর বেশি দিন থাকা হচ্ছে না।
A report published in today’s ( 25-05-09) dailies says, Prtha Chakrabarty didn’t get ‘clean-chit’ on Malini Bill Case in the Magisterial level investigation report. ADC B C Nath was in charge of the investigation. He completed the investigation a few days back and waited for declaration of the election results to submit the report. He has already secretly submitted the report to Sri Gautam Ganguli, the DC, Cachar. DC forwarded the report to the chief secretary of the state.
As the news disclosed, the report concluded against Sri Partha Chakraborty. According to the said report Partha Chakrabarty has tried to rule over the Koibortos of the Bill like age-old Jamindari regime. The Koibortos were most unhappy on the way he treated them. They were on search for the scope of the rebellion. Sources, close to the DC office saying that his days as the chairman of Silchar Development Authority are now numbered.
